lyrics

FINLAY RISE

Fall asleep
With open eyes
That burn like pyres on the beach.
Let the tide take
These bad dreams far from me.

Before the dawn
She will rescue me
Before my light goes out at sea.
Then wake with the taste
Of tears and ashes on my cheek.

Far from Finlay Rise
Where only the mangroves creak and sigh
A lost loves lullaby
Calling me back from Finlay Rise

Don't let me drown in torrid slumbers
On Finlay Rise...

Finlay Rise from canyons deep
Don't sleep my dear
Don't sleep.

Send me a kiss in a shell
I'll put it to my ear.
What will I hear?

And close my eyes and wake me up...

Far from Finlay Rise
Where only the mangroves creak and sigh
A lost loves lullaby
Is calling me back from Finlay Rise.
